Trevor Lloyd

Born in Manaia, Taranaki, New Zealand in 1933.
Education: Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Economic
History at Victoria University, Wellington in 1971.
Family: Married Heather Tilbury 1970.
Children: Jason and Corinne.

Working career: 1950 to 1965 worked on the family
dairy farm near the small town of Manaia (pop. 900),
Taranaki. 1965 to 1996 employed as a public servant
in Wellington, New Zealand in a variety of positions
in the same government department, the Ministry of Trade and Industry,
later the Ministry of Commerce. Retired 1996.

Since retirement I have become involved in independent research on the nature of word meaning that culminated in the work that is presented in this website.
